Fullstack Developer at MS Mode
In this role, you will work for two ambitious fashion retail companies: MS mode is not only big in the Benelux and France, but also active in Spain. America Today focuses mainly on the BeNeLux. We love efficiency and therefore work according to the white label principle. Nevertheless, we also try to pay as much attention as possible to the different target groups and specific wishes of our stakeholders. Our projects range from the roll-out of a new PIM, optimizing the check-out process including a new payment method, improving the site speed to a full re-design. That's why you're switching gears a lot in this position, variety is the key word!

Your Day

Every day is different: after you have determined the priorities during the daily stand-up meeting, you will work on implementing new features, optimizing and maintaining the webshops (we are on Salesforce Commerce Cloud). Our Product Owner, Marilina, has collected the requirements from the our stakeholders such as eCommerce, IT, Data Team, Customer Service etc. and you and your colleagues can immediately get started with what makes your heart beat faster: developing!

Our Roadmap

Here is a glimps: it’s almost time for a redesign starting with the checkout (we “eat the frog”), we will connect a new PIM and we are starting Contentsquare integration so we have a lot of optimization in front of us. This is not all, more cool stuff to come. We have annual inspiration sessions.

Our Team
In a hybrid team, you will work closely with our Senior Front-end Developer, Tech Lead, Junior Developer, Strategic Account Manager, and a UX Designer on larger projects and/or changes to the websites. You will report to the Business Development Manager. Together with your direct colleagues, you will work SCRUM and in three-week sprints to achieve your objectives, we use JIRA.

What do you bring?

• 3-5 years of experience as a (eCommerce) Developer;
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud knowledge and certifications are a huge plus;
• Experience with a multiple site set-up, including complex integrations and localization;
• Extensive experience with the integration of services such as web analytics, payment methods, ratings and reviews, Order Management System, etc.;
• Extensive JavaScript experience and knowledge of HTML, SCSS, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap and templating engines;
• Familiar with web services such as SOAP and REST;
• Experience with Atlassian Tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Slack);
• Experience with Agile working;
• Your vibrant personality in the office at least once a week.
